James Donald Schroeder of Columbus died Friday June 22, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
James Donald Schroeder was born May 27, 1929 in Columbus to Louis and Mary (Weber) Schroeder, Jr. He was raised in Platte County and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1947. James entered the service and served in the Korean War from 1953-1955. Following the service, James worked as a brick mason until 1981 when he went to work at Dales. He retired in 1991. James was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, the American Legion, and the VFW.
He is survived by: Brother Charles Schroeder of San Jose, CA Many Nieces and Nephews
He is preceded in death by: Parents 2 Sisters: Henrietta Ewert and Helen Wilcynski 3 Brothers: Jerome, Francis, and Eugene Schroeder
