Bill died Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
William A. "Bill" Loseke was born August 7, 1942 in Columbus, Nebraska to Lloyd and June (Herrguth) Loseke. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1960. Bill served in the U.S. Army spending most of his time in Germany. On August 18, 1973 he was united in marriage to Susan Langan at St. Joseph Church in Platte Center. The couple lived in Platte Center for a few years before moving to Columbus. Bill was a self-employed carpenter and worked for different construction companies. He also worked in the maintenance department at Appleton Electric, Genoa Hospital, Genoa Long Term Care and the Columbus Family YMCA. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a past member of the Columbus Rifle Club. Bill enjoyed hunting and working with his hands.
