Angela died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Cozad, Nebraska.

Angela Marie Zelasney was born July 14, 1924 in Humphrey, Nebraska the daughter of William and Regina (Foltz) Coldwell. She grew up in the Humphrey area and attended school at Sacred Heart Catholic in Cornlea and St Francis Catholic in Humphrey. During WWII she worked at the Nebraska Ordnance Plant in Mead and C.A. Swanson and Son's in Omaha.

Angela married Bernard J. Zelasney on September 10, 1946 at St Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Omaha where Bernard worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. They lived and worked in several other towns in Nebraska before making Columbus their home in 1959.

Angela was a member of St Isidore Catholic Church. She enjoyed family and friends, gardening and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Bernard J. Zelasney; 3 children: Bernard L. Zelasney and wife Bonnie of Denver, CO; Mary Carol Nickolite and husband William of Hershey, NE; Debra A. Brave Heart of Columbus, NE; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Leo Coldwell of San Clemente, CA; 1 sister: Jean Jackson of Albuquerque, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Theresa Lynn Zelasney; her parents; 3 sisters: Rose Kimnach, Ruth Shea and Mary Engel; and 1 brother: Henry Coldwell.

Memorials are suggested to St Isidore Catholic Church or Donor Choice.
