Paul E. Robak, age 64, of Duncan, Nebraska died Friday January 31, 2003 at his sister's home in Duncan. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday February 3, 2003 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan with Reverend Dave Korth officiating. Burial is in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation will continue Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. - service time at the church.
Paul Robak was born July 3, 1938 in Columbus, Nebraska to Peter and Theodosia (Szewczyk) Robak. Paul graduated from Duncan High School in 1956. He served in the United States Army from October 16, 1956 - October 15, 1958. He then lived in Duncan and worked for Behlen Manufacturing concrete construction crew before moving to Omaha where he worked for Sweet Brick and Masonary. He then returned to Duncan where he worked construction for various companies before starting his own construction company. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and the Duncan Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid stockcar racing fan and enjoyed bowling and fishing.
