Stanley A. Paprocki, 73, of Columbus died Monday, September 30, 2002 at Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Services are 10:30 am Thursday at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday after 5 pm at St. Isidore Catholic Church with a vigil service to begin at 7 pm., also at the church. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the donors choice.

Stanley A. Paprocki was born January 21, 1929 in Tarnov to Stanley and Mary (Gourka) Paprocki. He grew up in Tarnov where he attended St. Michael's Grade School and he graduated from St. Francis High School in Humphrey. On May 8, 1951 he married Colette Zach at St. Mary's Church in rural Humphrey. He farmed until 1967. He moved to Columbus where he worked for D & L until his retirement. Stanley was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church where he served as an usher and sang in the choir. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus-St. Isidore Council & the Nebraska Horseshoe Pitching Association. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, fishing, his grandchildren, and making various metal sculptures.
