I always felt like Del Rae was a second mother to me and ALL the kids on Sunset Drive. She was always kind no matter what the situation was: Jim and I coming bleeding, Tony playing KISS too loud, Shelly getting hit with one of my firecrackers...I am sending warmth and love to all. Steve

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. What a beautiful, faith-filled woman....we could all strive to live out our Catholic faith as she did. We will remember her with a joyful smile on her face, a prayer on her lips, and God's love in her heart. We will miss seeing her at daily Mass. May our Lord hold you close to His heart and comfort you.

I was so very sorry to learn that Del Rae had passed away so suddenly. The pain and sorrow you all must feel right now is unimaginable. Del Rae was simply a wonderful woman and a very best friend and neighbor to my mother. In many conversations, my Mom would talk about Del Rae, her beautiful flower garden, her kind gifts, her many drop-in visits, and her strong Catholic faith. I know my Mom appreciated their friendship very, very much. And even to the end of my mother's life, Del Rae was still in her thoughts. I am so grateful that she was in my mother's life for so long. My deepest sympathy to Tony and all her children. She loved you all very much and was so proud of all your accomplishments. Be assured she is at peace now enjoying Heaven's graces.
