To dear Della,
So sorry to hear the very sad news of Gene’s passing.
It was a real privilege to have met Gene in Nebraska when my parents Bob and Mary Francis (both deceased in 2016) visited from Ireland, a few times. We enjoyed our visit so much with Gene, such a wonderful heart-centered man and equally Della his beloved.wife. We all felt enriched by the experience and blessed to have met him and all of the family there.
Deepest sympathies to you Della and to all of the family there.
Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
Martina Francis- Woulfe
Boston, MA and from extended family in Ireland
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He never lost interest in his love for farming--a salty old guy. Thinking of you Berdella & Family at this time of your loss. Steve and Ann

Sincerest sympathy to you and your family. My late husband often visited with Gene after Mass on Sundays; I stood by as they hashed over the previous days cattle prices at Columbus Sales Pavilion. God Bless.

Mrs. Donaghue, my deepest sympathies to you and your family for your loss of Gene. I first met him when I worked for Dr. Lannan at Columbus Veterinary Hospital. Then when Mom & Dad moved into Meridian Gardens, I saw him one day, and asked if he was "Mr. Donaghue", and he said "yes I am", and "you used to work for the vets!"I was amazed that he remembered me! After that, he always spoke to me. You will have a wonderful guardian angel watching over your family. God Bless & keep you.
