Countless number of Saturday haircuts by Uncle Ray. He used "3-in-1" oil on the barber shears and everytime I see that product today, it reminds me of those crew-cuts he would give us :-) Haircuts were followed up with watching the model train set roll around the track a few times & that Cow Pen that would vibrate the cattle figures. He was a great man & will be missed. God Bless and take comfort he is now in Our Savior's home.

To the Bonk family,
The world has lost a beautiful person, and Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Ray was such a nice man. Very independent and had a wit about him. I used to love to sit by him in church just to hear him sing. He had the voice of an angel. He will be missed at St. Anthony's, but welcomed home by Jesus with open arms. Our prayers are with you.

The neighborhood just hasn't been the same without Ray. We had gotten so used to seeing him out in the yard or driving past and waving. Heaven is a little sweeter now that he and Gloria are back together again. I know he missed her dearly. Our condolences to the entire Bonk/Cremers family.

Strawberry Fields forever!! To Ray's Family....I want you to know how GREAT Uncle Ray was growing up. While my father (Joe) would not grow strawberries for me, Uncle Ray would...and he taught me how to grow strawberries and how to pick them...especially...HOW TO EAT THEM! I remember Uncle Ray working so hard in his garden that had the 'cool' vegetables and fruits. He was a great man who taught me many things....I am glad Gloria and Ray are back together and are happy!

While this is a sad time, it is a wonderful time for both Ray and Gloria.

My sympathy to the family,
Love to all

When I was growing up, we worked with Uncle Ray in his garden, at St. Anthony’s bazaars, and talked with him when he stopped at Grandma Bonk’s house. About a year ago, my son had a school project where we needed to write Uncle Ray to get some family history. Uncle Ray wrote a very nice letter back with the information and mentioned if we had more questions, let him know. My son remembers him because of the experience. Uncle Ray will be greatly missed.
