In Memory of Clara Sullivan

Clara Sullivan, 94, of Columbus died Friday March 21, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.  Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Wednesday, March 26 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. Del Lape officiating.  Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-7 pm with a 7 pm Vigil service, all at McKown Funeral Home.  Visitation continues Wednesday morning from 8-10 am also at McKown Funeral Home.  Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.  A lunch will follow at St. Anthony's Social Hall.

Clara M. Sullivan was born September 28, 1913 in Columbus to Charles and Petranella (Kantor) Wozny.  She lived in Columbus all of her life where she attended First Ward school and Kramer High School.  She married Edward Sullivan on March 5, 1935 in Kearney.  She was employed by Adams Cafe and was one of the first 27 employees at Dale Electronics from where she later retired.  Clara loved playing bingo, cards, bowling, horse races, and collecting dolls.  She enjoyed baking, gardening, and loved animals.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church having been the very first baby baptized at St. Anthony's.
