Jessica Rose Maslonka, age 17 of Genoa, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Bryan-LGH in Lincoln. Funeral service are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus. The Rev. Bill Ritter will officiate. Visitation is Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery.
A memorial mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph Miksch will officiate.
Jessica Rose Maslonka was born January 12, 1991 in Columbus, Nebraska to Jon & Kendra (Sanders) Maslonka. She was a junior at Columbus High School. She was passionate about photography, wanting to be a professional photographer. She loved the outdoors, nature, hunting, camping, music, and shopping at thrift stores. Jessica loved purses and enjoyed adding to her extensive collection. It is said she was the most beautiful tom boy ever. Jessica was very creative and enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, crafts. She loved children and was very close to her brothers, sister and cousins.

She was preceded in death by: cousin: Brett Maslonka and great grandparents: Sylvester and Rose Zarek; Charles and Anna Maslonka
