Marilyn Jean Williams, 56, of
Columbus died Friday, March 28, 2008 at her home. Funeral services
are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Federated Church in
Columbus. Visitation is Monday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home.
Marilyn Jean Ambrose was born May 8, 1951 in Holdrege, NE to Clayle
Eugene & Anne (Frisell) Ambrose. She grew up in Gothenberg, McCook and
Columbus, graduating from Columbus High School. She married Craig
Williams on January 24, 1969 in Columbus. The couple have lived in
Columbus all their life, where Marilyn has worked at HyVee for 23 years.
Marilyn is a member of Federated Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren
and going to their sporting activities, and NASCAR. Marilyn was active
in various soccer organizations and kept statistics for Columbus High
Girls Soccer for many years She is survived by: Husband Craig Williams of
