Name: Patricia Jarecke commentsI'm so very sorry to hear that Jerome has died. I have many fond memories of him from the time I was very young, particularly when we would gather on Uncle Walter and Aunt Frances's farm in the summer. I remember once when he and Bernie Jarecke, I believe, and a few others of the older male cousins came back from the river with a bunch of frogs and were teasing us younger kids about eating frogs' legs - don't remember what happened - whether anyone actually did eat them - I sure didn't - but it's a memory that has stuck. I got to see Jerome more recently when I would visit Aunt Francis, and it was wonderful the way he and the rest of the family took care of her in her later years. Jerome was always a pleasure to talk with, and I also enjoyed his choke cherry jelly. He was a connection to the family's past in Fullerton who I will miss. My deepest sympathy to all the family.
