Name: Ron & Gayle Callan commentsWe are so sorry to hear of your loss. George was my barber for many years at the Esquire Shop and when he retired, we met many times at the old WalMart and visited about old times. He was always very proud to talk about his children and grandchildren. We were unaware that he was moved to a nursing home. Had I known, I would have taken the time to visit him, as he was a dear, old friend. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. I will never forget Santa who visited every year, with his white gloves! Name: Dr. Rick Haney commentsI truly enjoyed the wonderful conversations we had...usually about softball and sports. Your father was a good man and will be missed. Name: Jory Knowlton commentsGeorge was one of those larger than life characters I feel blessed to have known. He was my barber for many many years. I remember how he'd pay me a little bit to sweep all the hair off the floor... or he'd give me a dollar or 2 to walk to McDonald's to get him some lunch. Always asking how things were, always caring. George taught me quite a bit about life in general. I'm not sure who had more fun as I was growing up... me getting tickled in the stomach with the massager... or George picking the right moment every time ... Even when you knew it was coming... He'd get you! I'll miss you George. Thanks for being you. Name: Jeff Wessel commentsJohn I am so sorry for your loss. George was a very carring person to every one, and very funny to most.
