I will always remember your mother from the Columbus Area Artists. She was a wonderful artist with a great sense of humor! I cannot believe she was that old...she must have been a lot older than I thought when we were in club together. She was certainly young at heart! I can also remember her when she lived at Prairie Village when my parents, Oscar & Dorothy Ewert were there several years ago. She's probably painting beautiful art in heaven and making everyone smile. She really lived a long life. The Agnes we remember will be missed. You have my sincere sympathy in her loss...Donna

To all the Michaelsen's. All my condolsences in the loss of your sweet, sweet mother Agnes. There are so many years of memories of Agnes, Melvin and all the Michaelsen kids, going way back from the farm days, (where everyone loved to come,) to our mothers being neighbors and couch buddies at Cottonwood. I loved walking into Cottonwod and seeing them sitting side by side, just waitin for their next visitor. She had so much humor and joy everytime I visited with her. She lived a long and wonderful life and will be missed for all her stories. I'm sure she is enjoying her reunion with Melvin and Janie and talking up a storm to catch up. What a great reunion of her!!! All my sympathy goes to all of you. Love, Bev (Maguire) Baker

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Agnes. Agnes, Jeanette Magure, and my mother, Kak Diederich, were such good friends at Cottonwood House. It was so cute to see them sitting together on the couch, just chatting away, always smiling whenever we visited. I never worried about Mom being lonely because she had your Mom and Jeanette. I also treasure the picture that your Mom painted of my Dad's farmhouse that he lived in while growing up. She did such a wonderful job, and it hung in a place of honor in Mom and Dad's living room. Now my sister, Mary, has the picture, and she treasures it too. I'm sure that Agnes' artwork will be passed down from generation to generation in our family. She was a very special lady, and will truly be missed. Your family is in our prayers. May Agnes now sleep with the angels forever!

Each visit with them was a memorable experience. She just made me laugh.. what a present she was. Hope she and mom are sittin on the couch now and waiting for Kak.. You all must have a million wonderful memories .. enjoy them.. Life at the Michaelson house was always fun.. you guys inherited a special gift.. now you make people laugh. As we all do ......talk about her and the legacy she left you. Our sympathy

Am sending my sympathy to all of you and yet feel much joy in your mom's resurrection. Can't help but smile when I think of those Cottonwood days. She and mother and Kak gave new meaning to the term "couch potatoe".. Every visit there was an experience worth remembering. Hopefully mom was there to offer her a seat and move over for Kak some day ahead. You Michaelsons are all blessed with such wit and everyone loves being around funny people. your mom surely gifted you with that. Always good times at the Michaelson household. Do enjoy all those million happy memories as we do with our mom. You are blessed to have been left a legacy. God's peace to all of you for now hers truly is the kingdom of God.

My deepest sympathy to all of Agnes's family. What a lovely lady your mother was! I have such sweet memories of her. She was always so friendly and kind. I loved her great sense of humor. She lit up a room with her zest for life. I think Janie was so much like her mother. I miss Janie and think of her often. How sweet to think of their joyful reunion. I will be at Agnes's funeral if at all possible. If I can't make that work, hugs to all of you. May God grant you comfort and hope in your sorrow.

To the Michaelsen family: We share in your sorrow to lose a loving Mother and Grandmother. It is so hard to let go even though we know it is God's plan because Mom is one of the few people that share that unconditional LOVE. God Bless all of you. Mom is going home and we know a much better place.
