Mabel Anne Raymond

Mabel Anne Raymond, age 85, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away on December 17th, 2007 at Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit.
A Memorial Service was held in Lee's Summit on December 21, 2007. A second Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m.  Saturday,  January 12, 2008 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus with Reverend Lee Soxman from Lee's Summit officiating.

Ms. Raymond was born on June 25, 1922 in Columbus, Nebraska. She married Frederick W. Raymond on May 26, 1946. She worked at the Columbus Telegram, Columbus Banks, was bookkeeper for her husband's business, Raymond Electric Company, and also worked at  various grocery stores. Mabel was involved in many church projects and organizations, and helped with Girl Scouts and 4-H with her daughters. She was a wonderful role model for her loved ones.
Mabel was a resident of Wilshire at Lakewood in Lee's Summit since Sept. 3, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Frederick W. Raymond of Lee's Summit; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Paul Langan of Ladson, SC, and Chris and Alan Flory of Lee's Summit; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Louise Ahrens, Alvina Aerni and Elaine Engel, all of Columbus.
