In Memory of Jennie "Jean" Stachura

Jennie "Jean" Stachura, age 79, of Columbus, Nebraska died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Countryside Manor in Madison, Nebraska.  Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Del Lape officiating.  Visitation is 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home.  Visitation continues Monday morning from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home.

Jennie "Jean" Stachura was born December 24, 1928 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Joseph and Mary ( Yelli ) Sliva. She attended St. Anthony School and Kramer High School. Jean married Leonard V. Stachura on January 4, 1984 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Theresa Sodality. Jean enjoyed gardening, yardwork, crossword puzzles and listening to Garth Brooks.
