In Memory of Lillian Puetz

Lillian Catherine Puetz, age 91, of Columbus died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 8-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in David City. Memorials are suggested to Scotus Central High School.

Lillian was born May 9, 1916 in David City, Nebraska to Joseph and Mary (Hofbauer) Bruner. She grew up in rural Brainard and attended  David City High School. She married Lawrence Puetz on February 7, 1939 in Brainard, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm near David City. She was a member of Catholic Daughters in David City and St. Bonaventure Parish. She loved football games, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Son: Jim (Judy) Puetz of Columbus, NE 

Son: Bill (Pat) Puetz of Omaha, NE
Son: Gary (Judy) Puetz of Columbus, NE
Daughter:  Nancy (Ron) Zahourek of Le Mars, IA
12- Grandchildren & 2- Great grandchildren

She was preceded in death her parents, husband: Lawrence in 1986 and sister: Alice Kriz.
