Elizabeth "Liz" Micek

Elizabeth "Liz" Micek, age 75, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday, November 26, 2007 at her home. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Del Lape officiating.  Visitation is 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Friday morning from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home.  Burial is in the St. Mary's - Pilsno Cemetery southwest of Columbus. 

Elizabeth Micek was born December 9, 1931 near Clarks, Nebraska to Charles and Catherine (Stanczyk) Laska. She attended St. Stanislaus Grade School in Duncan and graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus. Elizabeth married Norman Micek on May 1, 1965 at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan. Liz worked at Dale Electronics for many years.
