In Memory of Alyce Fletcher

Alyce Fletcher, age 83, of Columbus died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at McKown Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Volker will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 4-7 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. until service time at the McKown Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery.

Alyce Fletcher was born October 16, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska to Frank and Elizabeth (Peterson) Andersen. She received her education in Ponca. She was married to Claude B. "Red" Fletcher on November 15, 1945 in Marysville, Kansas. She lived in Minneapolis and Shelby, Nebraska for many years. Alyce later moved to Omaha to care for her father before moving to Columbus. Her husband Claude died in 1976.
