Name: Judy G. Martin commentsDear John, Mary Ann and family, I'm so sorry to hear that Uncle Julius died. Losing our parents is one of life's most sorrowful events and while I know his absence will leave a hole in your lives you can feel peace that he is with Aunt Vera. Both of your parents were a good presence in my life even though it was many years ago. I will pray for them and for all of you left behind. With love, from cousin Judy Schefcick Martin Name: Ron & Carlene Mindrup commentsPlease know that you are all in our thoughts & prayers at this time. Bob and Ann Hamling Name: Sheila Kappenman commentsWell Gramps....what can I say? You must have known I had just finished planning a trip back to Nebraska to come and see you and make sure you were behaving, but we never could get you to wait around for people!! We have so many awesome memories of you and we're so lucky we had you around for as long as we did. You were definitely one of a kind, and we'll never forget all the funny stories we have about you. Make sure you don't give the angels too hard of a time up there in heaven, and let me know if they haven't shown you how to work the coffee maker yet...oh, and tell grandma we said hi. All our love, Sheila, Justin and Brittany Name: Julie Mullenbach commentsMonty, & family Although you have never met us we are dear friends of Monty's. Losing a Grandfather or a Dad is never easy. I'm sure that he's operating a small farm up there in heaven with animals hanging around his farm home. My prayers are with all of you. Name: Susan and Gregg Coghill commentsMonty and family: Your Grandpa sounds like a good man - all good men love polka music! If he was a hint like you - he must have been amazing! Our sympathies to you and your family! Gregg, Susan, Matthew and Molly Coghill Name: Misty Schuster commentsHey Gramps, I can honestly say I think about you on most days. I think of something funny or in other cases things that I know I'll never experience again. It's not the same coming back to Columbus anymore. I still look out mom and dad's kitchen window in the morning to see if you are up or if the dog is out. Can't help it, it's a habit. I'm glad we got to spend some quality time with you this past year. I am very thankful that Tony got to visit with you and meet you over the last few years. Although he never really got to "know" you. Those memories, and pictures that I have up here in my office are priceless, and they make me smile. I wouldn't take back any of those times, but I still wish there were more. I hope you are happier now and are hanging out with grandma and Jeanie. I'm sure you are, along with Speedy, Pevnuts or Peanuts...HA! We all miss you and might I add your ceremony in the honor of your memory was beautiful, we hope you think so too. Take care, love you!
