Helen M. Wagner

Helen M. Wagner, age 71, of Columbus, Nebraska died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Columbus Community Hospital.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend David Fulton & Reverend Del Lape officiating.  Visitation is after 6:30 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Bonaventure Church.  Visitation continues Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. also at the church. A private family burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Helen M Wagner was born March 7, 1935 in Platte County, Nebraska to John and Florence (Zuroski) Sleva. She graduated from Platte Center High School in 1952. Helen married Ray Dohmen in 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center. Ray died in 1974.. She later married Donald Wagner on August 6, 1977 in North Glenn, Colorado. Helen was a homemaker and worked for the Platte County Courthouse and the Benson Bank of Omaha. Helen and Don lived in Longmont, Colorado from 1985 - 2004 before returning to Columbus. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Helen enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, golf, crocheting, traveling and pro football, especially her Denver Broncos.
