His joking personality is what I will always remember him for. Our sympathy, Carolyn Bonk Weiss and Craig Weiss Name: Mary Feehan commentsMrs. Bonk, Gina and family, I was very saddended to hear of the death of your husband/father. Gina, I have very fond memories of us hanging out at your house in high school. Your Dad was such a character and was always teasing us or giving us a hard time. Lots of good laughs and memories. I had the privilage of seeing him in Church not too long ago, and even though he was sick, he still had that smile on his face and ready to give me a bad time. He was a good man. I will miss seeing him when I am in Columbus. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the services, but I will be praying for all of you. God bless all of you and may He watch over you now and always. Mary Name: Patricia Inselman commentsOur sincerest sympathies at the loss of your husband, father and grandfather! We will all miss him. Love, Pat & Marv Inselman & family Name: Tim Czuba commentsAunt Fran and family, Simply stated, “Our loss is Heaven’s gain”. Uncle Stan was indeed a great man I will always admire. He had a very pleasant way about him & always had that youthful twinkle in his eyes and slight smile when he pulled your leg.....along with his trademark phrase: “Oh you rascal!” Timing is everything. With just a few days until the next Bonk reunion, our family’s faith assures us Uncle Stan is enjoying the Heavenly reunion with those from our family who have passed before us. And he’s probably rounding up some players for a card game with polka music playing in the background. :-) I thank God for giving us someone such as Uncle Stan in our lives. May the Lord comfort and bless you all! -Tim- Name: Jackie Peterson commentsAunt Fran and family, We are so saddened at the loss of Uncle Stan. He was my hero since he rescued me from the Walmart parking lot. I always loved seeing both you Fran and Stan. My condelences to your family! Name: Bonnie Savage commentsSent by Bonnie (Tim Savage's wife), and Gene Savage's daughter-in-law. My condolences to everyone - we wish we could be there with all of you. I've heard so much about Stan from Tim - especially his practical jokes, and the story about the poker game with Annette, when she beat everyone. What a lovely write-up. With Love, Bonnie Name: Lois (Irwin) Skalak commentsDear Connie & family, Just wanted to send my sincere sympathy to all of you. I always admired your mom & dad. They were such a loving couple. Always keep your memories close to your heart, & he will always be with you. Take care. Love, Lois Name: Bridgette Askew commentsI just heard about Stan. Please tell Bill my heart is with him. And with you and the babies too. I was sad for a moment but thought there is less to be sad about than there is to envy. He had just about everything a good person could ask for, or expect, in a life time. Having a loving spouse for so many years is a blessing unto itself. Wonderful children and grandchildren. A career he enjoyed. Relatively good health until recently. I'm glad for him that he is out of his pain and know he has moved on to a brighter place where he will wait patiently for his woman to join him.
