The holidays were always festive when you walked into her home. She made special occasions memorable for my kids and she will forever be an important and lasting part of their childhood memories. Tyler and Tammy had the opportunity to work with Dee in the Platte Valley Playhouse performance of “A Bad Day at Gopher’s Breath” in 2005 and so enjoyed getting to know her. She also rode with us to the college each performance night. We enjoyed her cheerful and helpful voice on the other end of the phone when we called in our Playhouse performance reservations – she always remembered just where we like to sit. She was a delightful person and will certainly be missed.
