Helen E. Hinkle

 

Helen E. Hinkle, 98,  of Fremont, formerly of Silver Creek, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the Merrick Manor in Fremont.  Funeral services are 10:00 am Saturday, December 29 at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek with the Rev. Tamara Holtz officiating.  Visitation will be at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will be in Silver Creek Cemetery.

Helen Eva Hinkle was born January 31, 1909 in Nance County, NE to Bartley and Julia (Marficia) Staniec. She was raised in Nance County and attended schools in Silver Creek. Helen married Laun Hinkle on October 4, 1930 in Columbus. She raised her family before going to work for Dale Electronics for 14 years. Helen lived in Silver Creek where she was a part of the Methodist Church before moving to Fremont in 2003.

Helen was a devoted wife and loving grandmother now resting in the hands of her Savior , the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is survived by:

Sister Frances Miller of Silver Creek, NE
Sister Julie Staniec of Silver Creek, NE
