Your are in our thoughts and prayers.Take care Greg and Judy Scribner Name: Sue Medinger commentsWhen I lived down the street from you, I'd see your dad drive past in his blue work van. Seems like he had that a long time! I first met him though at Blvd. Lanes. His team paid me $1.25 to keep score for "their half", and your dad was always the one to buy me a pop. A couple yrs ago I was helping a friend strip the wall paper in her kitchen. In 2 or 3 places we noticed the initials D.E. on the wall with a date. We figured out it was your dad. Leaving his mark for someone (us) to discover years and years later. I'm sure he's left his mark a lot of places that you'll discover and smile about in the days and years to come. He was a good man. You have my heartfelt sympathy. God bless your dad. Sue Medinger Name: Helen Sohl commentsTo Del's family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Your Dad and Dave did some wood trim for our new floors and addition downstairs, and what a treat they were. Our thoughts and prayers and all our LOVE are with you at this most challenging time. Dawn Olson Name: Judy Ann Engquist Tullos commentsMy thoughts and Prayers are with all of you. Uncle Del was always my favorite Uncle, he was so lovable and so very funny. I was 13 years old when Uncle Del and Aunt Donna got married and I thought they were the most Beautiful people in the world and I still feel this way today. I did not get to spend as much time with Uncle Del as I would have liked to, but I have wonderful memories of the times we did spend together and he will remain in my heart forever. He is in no pain now and is now with all his family that has gone before him. I know he has already got my Daddy laughing, he could alway do that, in fact, he always made everyone laugh. He had a wonderful life and his family was the most important thing to him, so weep little and laugh alot for him because this is what he would want. Love you all and wish I could be with you in your time of sorrow, but couldn't be. The Lord and time will help heal your wounds of loss. God Bless all of You Judy Engquist Tullos and Family Name: Carla (Meyers) Calek commentsMy deepest sympathies to the entire Engquist family. I have always thought of the Zrust family, and therefore the Engquist family, as my second family. I will never forget the wonderful times I have had at the cabin with everyone. Donna and Del have always been so good to me and I will never forget their generosity. One time, when Amanda, Bella and I were staying at the cabin we came across a snake! I thought it was poisonous because it has some red markings on it. Luckily Del was there to save the day. He "took care of it" and informed us that it was just a garter snake. What would we have done without him? Del will be missed by all. But, he left us all with some fantastic memories. Name: Kayla commentsEngquist Family, I am sorry to hear about Del ive known him and Dave since I was 7. They both helped Mom and Dad re-do their home. He will be missed by myself and our family. As a little girl and even now if we ran into eachother I could never get passed him without giving or getting a hug I always looked forward to seeing him. While he was putting up my wallpaper in my room he said it made him dizzy while he was putting it up because a majority of it is stripes. But now i will treasure each time i go home and sleep in my room that a great person took the time to do it. Now we know who will be putting up the wallpaper in Heaven.
