My heart aches with you in your loss. Charlotte was a very special friend of our family. She trimmed and cared for our pets for many years. Dear Carol & family, "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever".~ psalm 23:6 Carol,your Mom was so full of life and worked so hard for her little creatures she loved so dearly. I remember her poodles and because of her I too fell in love with them.It is amazing how we go through life meeting many people and being touched by few. She was one of those persons. To the members of Charlotte Zerr's Family, I came to town about 26 years ago. I had a poodle named Missy at that time. When I asked around who I could take my dog to for a haircut and for kenneling, I was told by numerous people that Charlotte Zerr was the lady to go to. Charlotte was one of the sweetest and the nicest lady that I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I always enoyed visiting with her, and I knew that she loved my poodles over the years and took the best of care with them like they were her very own. My dogs never minded going to Charlotte's because I think they were spoiled there by her genuine love of animals. I will miss her very much. I'm so sorry that I didn't even know that she had passed away until way after the fact. I was babysitting for my grandchildren and the local newspaper just didn't get read. A friend in the Humane Society mentioned to me that she had passed away, and I felt horrible that I had missed her visitation and her funeral. She was truly one of God's special people. You can be proud of her and all the wonderful care she provided for the many animals in Columbus.

I graduated from high school with Charlotte. She was always a joy to know. She was always at our reunions. So sorry to hear of her passing.
