In Memory of Charlotte C. Zerr

Charlotte C. Zerr, 82, of Columbus died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at her home in Columbus.  Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am Saturday, April 21 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Weisbecker officiating.  Visitation is on Friday from 5-7:30 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7:30 pm, also at the funeral home.  Visitation continues Saturday morning from 8-9:30 at McKown Funeral Home.  Interment is in All Saints Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Platte County Humane Society.

Charlotte Clara Zerr was born August 13, 1924, in Columbus, daughter of Peter and Clara (Kirsch) Brehm. She attended St. Bonaventure Grade School and graduated from Kramer High School in 1942. Charlotte married Tony Zerr in Belleville, KS.

Mrs. Zerr was Owner and Operator of Zerr's Poodle Parlor for 27 years. During that period she cared for and groomed pets for a large number of the residents of Columbus and surrounding towns. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Soroptimist International of Columbus, and the Nebraska Professional Groomers Association.
