I am writing your family because I heard about the loss of your dear loved one, and wanted to offer my condolences and some words of comfort from God's word the bible. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) We all can agree that death is such an unnatural thing, therefore, we will never get used to it. Your family will be happy to know that death was not part of God's original purpose when he created mankind. In fact, God's word the bible tells us that God made man to live forever upon the earth. According to Genesis 1:28, 31 the first human couple had a perfect start, with the prospect of endless life. Concerning humans the bible says: "Time indefinite Jehovah has put into their hearts." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Yes, God created us with the desire to live forever; and has opened the way for that desire to be fulfilled. Now having said that, you may be wondering like so many others, if this is true, then why do we get sick, grow old, and die? Well, if you would like to learn what the bible has to say in answer to those questions please feel free to contact me via email or contact anyone of Jehovah's Witnesses in your local area.
