In Memory of Kevin Wemhoff

Kevin Wemhoff, age 39, of Columbus died Monday, September 18, 2006 in Lancaster County as result of a traffic accident.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2006 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Joseph A. Miksch officiating.  Visitation is after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service, all at St. Isidore Church.  Visitation continues Thursday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home.  Interment is in All Saints Cemetery in Columbus.  Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.

Kevin David Wemhoff was born August 16, 1967 in Norfolk to Ludwig and Viola (Fuchs) Wemhoff. He grew up in Humphrey and graduated from Humphrey St. Francis High School in 1985. Kevin continued his education at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. He was united in marriage to Julie Gasper on May 25, 1991 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. Following his marriage he lived in Columbus where he worked for Nebraska Public Power District. Kevin was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, avid blood donor, and was a past Boy Scout Leader. He loved gardening, camping, coaching, Nebraska football, and spending time with his family.
