In Memory of Sherry M. Mills

Sherry M. Mills, age 47, of Columbus, Nebraska died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska following a long battle with cancer.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus with Reverend Bill Ritter officiating.  Visitation is 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at McKown Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Burial is in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus. 

Sherry Marie Mills was born August 19, 1959 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Richard George and Janette "Tudy" (Albracht) Schure. She grew up in Humphrey and graduated from Humphrey High School in 1978. Sherry married Dennis Ray Mills on November 9, 1991 in Columbus. She worked at the New World Inn, Columbus Hospital and at the Columbus Middle School cafeteria. Sherry enjoyed cooking, needlework, crafts, playing cards, attending Indian Pow Wows in South Dakota and collecting angels and Barbie Dolls. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
