Name: Becky Smolik, Activity Director commentsOur deepest sympathies from everyone at Stanton Health Center. "Curly" will surely be missed here. Name: Mark Kudron commentsMyrle & Polly, I extend my deepest sympathy on the passing of your father and father in law. I remember him as I grew up in Columbus while I was shining shoes for the Park Barber Shop and later working for Tooley Drug. Name: Pat Foust commentsMy sympathy to all of Curly's family on his death. He was a true gentleman, a good man who cared but seldom complained and a friend. Name: Greg Sealovk commentsMy condolences to the family. Curly was a wonderfull man. I enjoyed spending hours and hours with him talking railroading with him and working on his model railroad in his basement. I regret that I won't be able to make the services or visitation, as I am currently in San Diego and can not return to Columbus for two more weeks. Your family is in my prayers. Greg Sealock Name: Walt Lueke commentsDear Hadcocks, My sympathies and condolences. Curly and Rosella were very good to all of Darryl's friends when were kids..the "Clubhouse" gang and I will always remember and value that. Mabel was very kind to us too! Curly lived a great long life. May he rest in peace now in heaven. The Walt Lueke's. Name: Sue Ann Ashker commentsWhenever Grandpa would go with us, or by himself to the Wolf's Den to eat breakfast he would always get icecream first. He was a great man. Always loved life and loved everyone around him. We will miss you Grandpa!! Name: Jim Reisdorff commentsDear Hadcock Family Members: Having worked with Curly, Rosella and Al Holck to publish "Burlington Route Depot Life," my wife Shari and I can only echo everyone's sentiments regarding what kind and sharing people Curly and Rosella were. The joy is in knowing that they are together again. Curly and Rosella figured largely in our engagement period and early wedded life period, as we made frequent trips to their home then to go over details of Curly's then-upcoming book. We couldn't help but draw inspiration from what we saw of their long marriage and hoped that our lives together could be as solid. We were most happy to have them attend our wedding. I'm otherwise honored to have had Curly be the one to tell the story of being a "Burlington Man" -- not only for himself, but for all who worked on the railroad in his and Rosella's era. Otherwise, selfishly, I have to admit that Curly was the best salesman of any of our authors. We are still amazed at how many copies of his book that he personally got distributed. Truly a carry-over trait from his work days. Anyhow, God bless Culy and Rosella for what they were to their family and friends, and for sharing their experiences with us. May they dance forever and ride on rails of gold. - Jim and Shari Reisdorff Name: Bill & commentsName: Bill & Gloria Brandenburgh commentsMay you find comfort Myrle & Polly Hadcock, Bonnie & Gary Benson, Ralph & Jackie Hadcock in knowing that your Father "Curly" is now in the care of our loving God.
