In Memory of Marcella Krzycki

Marcella Krzycki, 96, of Columbus died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at Columbus Community Hospital.  Services are 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.  Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Rosary at 4 pm and a Vigil service at 7 pm, also at the funeral home.  Visitation continues Wednesday morning from 8-10 at McKown Funeral Home.  Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Marcella was born January 17, 1910 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Joseph E. and Cecelia (Torczon) Zoucha. She grew up in Tarnov and attended St. Michaels School in Tarnov and St. Francis Academy in Columbus. She married Clarence Krzycki on October 17, 1934 in Tarnov. She and her husband farmed east of Columbus until 1970 when they retired to Columbus. She was a member of the St. Bonaventure Church, St. Bonaventure Christian Guild and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and her grandchildren. Marcella resided at the Prairie Village Assisted Living in Columbus.
