To Family and Friends of Virginia; We all have lost a beautiful Lady of Fondness, Love and Friendship. Virginia, had been missing her long lost love of Al since his passing and no matter how hard we tried, we know that she and Al are back together again, giving us their blessings that we shared with them here and knowing we will see them again ! Let us all remember this Loving, Caring example of a Lady with our prayers of Thanks for her touching each and everyone that Virgina and Al crossed paths with on God's earth! Kevin J. Wagner

Thank you so much to all of you who adopted Granny and treated her as family. She spoke very kindly of you every time we spoke. You are the reason she stayed in Columbus after Pap Pap passed away and we tried to get her to move closer to us. She knew she had wonderful friends who would look out for her and we are grateful to you for that. We will miss her dearly, but believe she is at peace finally and happy now with Pap Pap and my dad, who she’s missed for almost 36 years. She was a special woman who taught me a lot about life. I am flattered that she saw a lot of herself and of my dad in me. We love you, Granny.

Mom, you've been my mother-in-law for over 40 years and I will miss you. I know Dad and Jim have welcomed you with open arms. Give them my love. I too, am grateful to all the wonderful people in Columbus who took you in as one of their own. Til we meet again, love, Laura

To Family of Ginner Laird When we all lived in Northern Virginia, Ginner and Al were another set of parents to us and grandparents to our son Ben. They happily watched over us since our parents were far away in Ohio and North Carolina. We were so thankful for their wonderful wisdom, advice, friendship and love. When we moved to North Carolina and they to Nebraska, we continued our friendship by phone and a few memorable visits to Nebraska. We have over 30 years to be thankful for. We will always remember and love you both. Ginner, may God bless your path as you enter Heaven and walk hand in hand with Al and Jim. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Love Peggy Tom Ben Adcock

To Virginia's family, My sincerest sympathies to all of you. I got to know Al and Virginia in selling furniture to them in Columbus and what wonderful people they were. They both hold a special place in my heart and hope you find comfort that Al and Virginia are now together in heaven.

I have just now learned of Virginia's death. I met her in 1977 at E-Systems in Virginia. After learning my father had just died (I was only 18), she quickly took me under her wing. She taught me so much; how to be a great secretary, wife, mother, friend. She was so kind and generous and truly made the greatest difference in my life! We continued to send Christmas cards to each other until 2005; I was afraid of the worst when I did not hear from her in 2006. I just hope she knows what a positive impact she had on me; I was proud to have known her! Love you Virginia!!
