In Memory of Edith J. Schroeder

Edith J. Schroeder, age 86, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday May 12, 2006 at the Columbus Community Hospital.  Funeral Services are 1:00 p.m. Monday May 15, 2006 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend David Fulton officiating.  Burial is in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.  Visitation is 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday with a 7:30 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home.  Visitation continues Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at St. Bonaventure Church. 

 Edith J. Schroeder was born July 22, 1919 in Fullerton, Nebraska to August and Victoria (Wetovick) Warholoski. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1937. On May 4, 1942 Edith was united in marriage to Eugene M. Schroeder. Following WWII they made their home in Columbus where Edith worked for Becton-Dickinson for over 20 years until retiring. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Edith enjoyed quilting, reading and playing cards.
