commentsTo Mary Ann's Family, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. You all were so supportive of her and Martin. It is evident that your family bond is very close and it will be difficult not having her here to share in all the family get-togethers. She was a neat lady and her personality glowed. May all the wonderful memories help sustain you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Connie Thomas & Prairie Village Friends

commentsKim, Terry and I were surprised to see your mother's notice in the paper. We are both very sorry to hear of her passing. Her picture in the paper is exactly as I remember her. As happy go lucky with a hearty husky laugh. I haven't seen her much in recent years, but her picture brought back a flood of fond memories from when you guys lived on the farm and I would come over with Bob and Em. It always tickled me how your mom was so layed back about things and Em could never figure out why she wasn't fretting about something. I can remember a story Uncle Bob would tell about a cat your mom would let in the house on the farm. It liked to sit on the refrig. or something and one day it leaped from the chair to the table to the refrig. but unfortunately its back claw hit uncle Bob's head on the way up leaving marks. I guess your mom rolled on the floor laughing even though Uncle Bob found little humor in it. I know from experience losing a mom is tough. I hope you can take comfort in knowing your mom lived life to its fullest and brought a smile to many. Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Terry and Trudy Samek |
