Elsie Grosch

Elsie Grosch, 94, of Silver Creek died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Genoa Community Hospital-LTC.  Services are 2:00 pm Monday, March 20 at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek with the Rev. Kurt Letcher officiating.  Visitation is on Sunday from 3-6 pm at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek and continues Monday afternoon also at the church.  Interment is in Silver Creek Cemetery.

Elsie Margaret Mary Grosch was born February 1, 1912 in Clarks, NE to William and Catherine (Hansen) Kohl. She was united in marriage to Gottlieb W. Grosch on February 5, 1940 in Council Bluffs. They farmed near Silver Creek and started Grosch Irrigation Company. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Central City. Elsie enjoyed gardening , crocheting, playing cards, and family.
