Dee: I was so shocked to see that Larry had passed away. I have been away from Silver Creek for such a long time. I now live in Tennessee but am still in touch with what goes on in Nebraska. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband of 44 years in 1999 and am now remarried and have a nice life in a resort area in Tennessee. I too, had a monumental loss in 1999. I lost my mother on January 46h, my husband on February 12th, my sister on May 5th and her husband (Emanual Klein) in July. It is truly a sad time and I certainly would like to be in Nebraska to attend the funeral of Larry, but we are so far away. Please remeber that I still remember the "kids" that I grew up with and I savor the times that I spent growing up in Silver Creek.

Dee and family: Just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about Larry. My mom, (Elsie Slattery) always thought a lot of him. He always went out of his way to visit with her whenever there was a family gathering and he was a wonderful person to talk to. I will try to get mom to the funeral if possible. She is 87 but still able to get around as long as the weather is good. Take care. Marilyn

We are all saddened to hear of Larry's passing and want to assure you that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Although living outside Nebraska the last 20 years we always enjoyed the opportunities to catch up on family and other happenings whenever we saw Larry at Koza family gatherings over the years. Dee, Kim, and Family~ Our entire family extends our deepest sympathies to your entire family at this difficult time. My mom (Joyce Heins)was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) in September and it's a long and difficult process trying to help the one's you love deal with the pain. Just know that with Larry his pain has ended and the healing can begin and for the family the pain will be there for a while but it can be eased if you reflect on the memories of your lives together and the memories of the lives that Larry touched. Our family has shared in some of those memories from all those years in Kozy bar. Again our condolences are with you at this difficult time.
