I am so sorry/shocked to hear about Danny. Helen (Strasocik) Neemeyer and I came to the old neighborhood this past summer during the Columbus Days weekend. Drove through the neighborhood then stopped to visit with Mrs. Schroeder about the past. I had mentioned to his mom that I wished he had attended the Class Reunion's so to be able to talk & to see him. The one thing that I remembered the most about Danny was of course his love for history but also in first grade @ First Ward School, while we were walking home from school he told me that he was going to be President of the United States. I absolutely believed him since he had that determination. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have know him and to have had him a part of my life. A fellow neighbor, a classmate and friend.
