Lorraine M. Podraza

Lorraine M. Podraza, age 77, of Columbus died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Tim Podraza will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil also at the church. The family will gather at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at St. Bonaventure Church.

Lorraine M. Podraza was born February 9, 1928 in Columbus, Nebraska to Tom and Mary (Wielgus) Kobus. She received her education at St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus. She married Michael Podraza Jr. on July 28, 1948 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Lorraine was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Lorraine was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, gardening and bingo.
