Florence K. Gerber

Florence K. Gerber, age 61, of Columbus, Nebraska died Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Columbus Community Hospital.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus with Reverend Timothy White officiating.  Visitation is 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with a 10:15 a.m. Family Prayer Service.  Burial will be in the Columbus Cemetery.

Florence K. Gerber was born April 13, 1944 in Columbus to Henry and Clara (Czarnick) Ryba. She married Robert D. Gerber on March 25, 1963 in Iowa. They moved to Omaha for a few years before returning to Columbus. Florence worked at the New World Inn for many years. She previously worked at Fleischer Manufacturing. She enjoyed her pets, grandchildren, and music. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
