In Memory of Clara Vancura

Clara Laura Vancura, 85, of Columbus died Monday, November 28, 2005 at Beverly Health Care in Columbus.  Funeral services are 10:30 am Thursday at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus.  Visitation is on Wednesday from 3-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:30 until 10:00 am at the church.  There will be a Rosary at 10:00 am Thursday prior to the mass at St. Isidore Catholic Church.  Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to St. Isidore’s.

Clara Laura Vancura was born December 7, 1919 in Valley County to Joseph and Laura (Jablonski) Micek. She grew up and attended schools in Valley County.  Clara married Charles Vancura, Jr. on November 25, 1941 at St. Mary's Church in Elyria, Nebraska. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus and the Christian Mothers.
