Georgia V. Stamm

Georgia V. Stamm age 84 of Columbus died Monday; May 23, 2005 at Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday; May 26, 2005 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is Wednesday 5-7 p.m. and Thursday 12:00 noon until service time at the Funeral Home. Please note that the family has invited everyone to a lunch at the Eagles  Club prior to the funeral service. Lunch will begin at 11:30 p.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Norfolk. A 2:30 graveside service is scheduled.

Georgia V. Stamm was born May 23, 1921 in Randolph, Nebraska to James and Myrtle (McCuen) Denman. She received her education in Randolph Public Schools and graduated from high school in 1939. She married Alex Stamm Jr. on February 18, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa. They lived in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma before returning to the Randolph area where they farmed. In 1976 they moved to Columbus where they have lived since.
