In Memory of Georgean Prunty

Georgean Prunty, 80, of Columbus died Monday, May 30, 2005 at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Norfolk.  Memorial services are 10:30 am Thursday at St. Luke's Congregational-UCC in Columbus with the Rev. Nancy Peebles officiating.  Interment is in Schuyler Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the service time at the church.

Georgean L. Kroeger was born May 15, 1925 in Schuyler to George and Louise (Olsen) Kroeger. She graduated from Schuyler High School and taught school in rural Colfax County. She later worked and managed Restaurants in Columbus for many years. She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Grandchildren: Marc Witte, Jeff Witte, Stephanie Liss, Darrin Liss, Cody Liss, Great granddaughter: Jaelyn Witte
