Kenneth Smith

Kenneth D. Smith,  age 57 of Columbus died Wednesday; March 30, 2005 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday at the McKown Funeral Home Burial with  military honors is in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. The Rev. Adrian Atkins will officiate. Visitation is Monday 10:00 a.m. until service time at the McKown Funeral Home

Kenneth D. Smith was born November 21, 1947 in Albion, Nebraska to Kenneth and Fern (Borders) Smith. He received his education in Albion and attended Albion High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Kenneth Was stationed and served in Korea. Following his discharge he returned to Albion . In 1987 he moved to Columbus. He married Debra Davis on July 7, 1995. He worked at various places including Appleton and Sapp Brothers. Kenneth completed treatment at Valley Hope and remained active in A.A. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Wife        Debra Smith of Columbus, NE 
Brother   Doug (Martha) Smith of Columbus, NE

He was preceded in death by his parents.
