In Memory of Tony "Monte" Sliva

Tony "Monte" Sliva age 41 of Columbus died Monday; January 31, 2005 at his home in Columbus. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday; February 3, 2005 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation is Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday morning 8-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Tony "Monte" Sliva was born November 4, 1963 in Kearney, Nebraska to Virgil and Lorraine (Roschynialski) Sliva. He grew up in St. Edward where he received his early education and later attended Osceola High School. Monte has worked at Duo-Lift Manufacturing for the past 8 years as a welder. He has previously worked at Behlen Manufacturing, and Virg's Blacksmith and Construction, Inc. He enjoyed football, NASCAR, stock car racing and shooting pool.
