In Memory of Delphine Stachura

Delphine A. Stachura, age 81, of Duncan, Nebraska died Wednesday; February 9, 2005 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday; February 12, 2005 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. The Rev. Frank Jindra will officiate. Visitation is Friday after 4:00 p.m. at the church in Duncan. A Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. Visitation will continue Saturday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Delphine A. Stachura was born January 25, 1924 in Platte County, near Tarnov, Nebraska to Mike and Della (Chochon) Jarosz. She graduated from St. Michaels High School in Tarnov, Nebraska in 1937. She married Albin Stachura on June 3, 1947 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Tarnov. Along with raising her family she also worked at Dale Electronics and Jordans Home Improvement Center. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan, St. Ann's Sodality, Liturgy Committee, E.M.E.,  Island Community Club, Lone Star Extension and Duncan Lions Club. She enjoyed home decorating, gardening, baking and her grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus Church or family choice.

5 - Grandchildren  and 1 - Great Granddaughter

She was preceded in death by her parents.
