In Memory of Ernest  "Ernie" Bohuslavsky

Ernest Bohuslavsky, age 88 of Lincoln formerly of Columbus died Sunday; December 19, 2004 at the Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday; December 22, 2004 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Dave Fulton will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in David City. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8-10 a.m. Wednesday at the McKown Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening also at the funeral home.

Ernest Bohuslavsky was born August 29, 1916 near Bellwood, Nebraska to Joseph and Mary (Rech) Bohuslavsky. He received his early education in a country school west of David City. He graduated from David City High School in 1934. He married Ina Lou Baer on April 22, 1941 in David City. He farmed near Surprise until 1986. Following his retirement they moved into Columbus. Most recently they have lived in Lincoln. Ernie enjoyed square dancing, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and served on the election board in Surprise for many years.
