Mary Ann Petermann

 

Mary Ann Peterman, age 63, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday April 5, 2004 at the Columbus Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday April 8, 2004 at the Federated Church in Columbus with Reverend Don Wilson officiating.  Burial is in the Columbus Cemetery.  Visitation is 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McKown Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Mary Ann Petermann was born July 10, 1940 in Bellwood, Nebraska to Henry and Gertrude (Smith) Romshek. She grew up in Bellwood and graduated from Bellwood High School in 1957. She married Donald T. Petermann Sr. on December 5, 1969 in Schuyler, Nebraska. Mary worked at various places including Becton-Dickinson, Joe & Al's, Bonanza Restaurant, and most recently Taco Johns. She was a member of the Eagles Club and the Federated Church. Mary enjoyed playing bingo, spoiling the grandchildren and watching her grandchildren play sports, dance, and band activities.

She is survived by:

Sister               Donna (Howard) Meyers of Fort Collins, CO
Sister-in-law    Helen Volkmer of Hastings, NE

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,  Donald T. Petermann Sr. on  March 7, 2003 and 1 brother Henry Romshek Jr.
