In Memory of June M. Rezac

June M. Rezac, age 76, of Madison, Nebraska formerly of Columbus died Tuesday April 6, 2004 at the Countryside Home in Madison.  Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday April 9, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus with Reverend Bill Ritter officiating.  Burial is in the Columbus Cemetery.  Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at McKown Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church.

June M. Rezac was born June 14, 1927 in Lincoln, NE., to Fred & Anna (Nordgren) Anderson. She graduated from Newman Grove High School in 1945. June married Leonard Rezac on June 18, 1945 in Belleville Kansas. They later moved to Columbus where she worked at St. Mary's Hospital, Becton-Dickinson, & Dale Electronics, before opening Sunset Antiques in Columbus for 5 years, she also did Antique Shows in various states for 14 years.
June worked as a volunteer for the Commodites Program. June was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was also a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed collecting antiques, dolls, quilting & embroidering. She also was a member of the Country Family Band where she played the piano.
