Kevin Florendo

Kevin Scott Florendo, age 45 of Salt Lake City, Utah died Monday; September 15, 2003 near Bushnell, Nebraska. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday; September 19, 2003 at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. The Rev. Don Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Friday morning 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Columbus Area Recreation Trails.

Kevin Scott Florendo was born June 22, 1958 in Columbus to Jack and Judith (Cinfel) Florendo. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1976. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1976 to 1980. He returned to Columbus and attended Platte College for 2 years. He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and attended the University of Utah where he graduated. After graduation he continued to live in Salt Lake City, where he owned and operated a commercial painting business. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors and rock climbing.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
